We depend on private donors, foundations and sponsors to help cover our mission, using 100% of all donations for the water project.
This model of self-sustainability will be complete in the fifth year of its inception.
Since Adaklu’s local economy is agribusiness based, we are simultaneously embarking on a mechanized Farm Project that will enable local farmers to increase land cultivation, increase employment, boost production and better the standard of living for majority of residents. With a good local economy, the local government will better tax or levy local residents for ensuing projects and later for the maintenance and sustainability of all Adaklu’s Clean water and waste water systems.
Coupled with donations from sponsors, foundations, and individual donors, Adaklu farm project is intended to provide a major source of income for the developing project and later for, educating, training, sustaining, maintaining and improving upon the initial project.
In addition to your donation, the Adaklu Water Project plans to raise funds by having African music and dance performances in the Boulder Community and other areas in Colorado, bringing awareness of the water situation in Adaklu. On a monthly basis, we will also organize private get-togethers and receptions to provide progress reports, as well as to raise more funds.
